Why is there a $100 contribution required for the second vote?
This is to discourage people who are not really serious about the project. The funds from this will be divided amongst the Colonists who actually end up going to the Colony. The funds will be held in escrow and provided to the Colonist upon their arrival.
What is the SDK Corporation?
The SDK Corporation is the first Private Defense Agency of the Liberty Colony and will offer transportation, security, and other services to the initial Colonists. The SDK has no monopoly on any service and is simply the first of what will be many groups offering varying services in the Colony.
Why can't this project be done in the U.S.?
This is really a question of where is the best place to establish the Colony. The Liberty Colony believes that the best place for success is where there is currently little or no functional apparatus of tyranny. By that criteria, the U.S. is not a good choice.
Do I have to be a Colonist to purchase shares in the SDK Corporation or invest in other Colony projects?
No, the Liberty Colony welcomes supporters to participate financially in any project that either the SDK Corporation or the Colony is involved with. This is a great way to participate for those of you that are currently unable to physically move but still believe in the idea of freedom.
